BookBar Book Club is delighted to collaborate with Toowoomba Gallery for a special evening celebrating the connection between literature and art.
Join us for a captivating illustrated talk on The Art Thief - the extraordinary true story of one of history’s most prolific art thieves. You will discover the fascinating relationship between masterpieces, obsession and the enduring power of art.
The evening will also showcase the beautiful work of acclaimed artists Marnie McKnight, Martial Cosyn and Kylie Sirett - whose artworks celebrate the beauty and symbolism of books.
Adding to the experience, The Book Tree Book Shop will present a carefully curated collection of Penguin Classics, alongside an inspiring range of books on art, all available to browse and purchase throughout the evening.
