Stop motion animation workshop for kids 5-10 yrs

Lights, camera, animation! Bring your wildest ideas to life in this fun, hands-on school holiday workshop to suit ages 5-10 years of age.
Join us for an action packed workshop where you can create your own stop motion short movie using craft materials like felt, googly eyes, pom poms and pipe cleaners, or use Lego provided on the day. You’re also welcome to bring your own favorite Lego or small toy to animate. Once you've created your short animation we will email a digital copy for you to keep.
No previous technical skills required and all materials provided. Children under 8 years will require an adult guardian for the duration of the workshop.
This event is held in association with the exhibition Still moves: Australian and international animation, on display at Bayside Gallery 5 September to 25 October 2026.
