About
A Watercolour Workshop of Hope and CompassionOctober is a special month at St Agatha's Parish. Inspired by St Agatha, patron saint of women affected by breast disease, we invite our community to gather for a relaxing morning of watercolour painting, conversation and connection.
No artistic experience is needed-just a willingness to spend time creating something beautiful for a meaningful cause. Participants will
enjoy a guided beginner-friendly watercolour workshop, morning tea and all materials provided.
12 participants max | $85 per person

All proceeds from the workshop will be donated to the McGrath
Foundation
With participants permission, completed artworks will be professionally scanned and transformed into greeting cards, bookmarks and other paper gifts. These will be used in two ways: to accompany the handcrafted comfort rugs made by St Agatha's Parish Yarning Circle and gifted to women undergoing breast cancer treatment, with handwritten messages of hope from our parish community; and to raise funds through future parish events, including Pink October and the Christmas Concert.
