You're invited to take a self-guided tour of the new acute services building (North Block) on Wednesday, 19 August 2026. 

This will be an opportunity to view some of the clinical spaces, patient rooms, artwork, cultural expressions and gardens throughout the building before it opens to patients. 

Tour highlights include:

• Birthing suites, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Emergency Department
• Wattle and Bottlebrush elevated gardens
• You'll have the opportunity to meet some of the artists behind the featured artworks during selected timeslots. Further details will be shared closer to the event. 

Tours are self-guided, with a map provided to guide you along the designated route. Please allow approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete the tour. 

To help tours run smoothly, registrations are required. Please book in to one of the arrival timeslots, which run every 30 minutes from 8:30am to 3:30pm. 

You can book up to three people, however the name and email address of each attendee must be provided at the time of booking. 

Please note, as of 12 August we are almost at booking capacity and bookings will close at 4pm Thursday, 13 August. 

Tour meeting point

Please make your way to H2 and head to the registration desk located near the new cashier's desk. A member of the project team will check you in, provide a brief orientation and issue your tour map. 

When you have completed the tour, please return to the registration desk to check out, return your map and collect a small thank you gift from the team.
