Creative Drama and Arts, presents its first English-speaking production — Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo.

Albee wrote The Zoo Story in 1958, a taut, unsettling encounter between two strangers on a park bench that became a modern classic. Then, more than forty years later, he did something almost unheard of — he went back and wrote a prequel. Home Life sits before the original play, pulling back the curtain on the quiet unravelling of a marriage before we ever reach the park. Together they became At Home at the Zoo: two plays in one, decades apart in their writing, but inseparable in what they say about connection, isolation, and the strange lengths we go to in order to be truly seen by another person.

It's a play about the distance between people — the ones we love, and the ones we've never met — and what happens when that distance finally breaks.
