Curious about medieval swordplay? Fancy yourself a knightly wielder of the longsword, or a dashing rapier fencer? Come along to a free come and try session in Clovelly park! Suitable for all ages and body types.6 30pm will be a longsword lesson. 8pm will be rapier. Dont miss it!
ASA is Adelaide's premier historical fencing group, teaching medieval swordplay since 2007. We've have our own full time premises in St Agnes, and are ready to share our love of swordplay to young and old. Come learn fencing with the friendliest group of sword nerds, and one of only two professional HEMA instructors in Australia.
No gear needed - all provided. Just come along and wear comfortable sports clothes and shoes.
ASA is a friendly and welcoming community dedicated to medieval swordplay. We have all sorts of classes available! This is an introductory class which will give you a feel for what fencing and training looks like at ASA.
These classes are suitable for ages 12 and up. Check out our kids classes for 7 to 12 year olds.
