Drawing on Michelangelo Pistoletto’s iconic mirror works and Grace’s own use of mirrored Perspex and found photographic imagery, participants will experiment with layering, cutting and collage to create an image that shifts between representation and reflection.Grace Wood is a Naarm based artist working across photography, collage, textile and installation. Her practice explores the shifting life of images as they are found, removed from their original contexts, altered, layered and recirculated. Drawing from digital, institutional and personal archives, Wood combines photographic fragments and found imagery to create new and often unexpected visual narratives.
