A small-group masterclass turning soil knowledge into better farm decisionsThere’s no shortage of information about building healthier soils, improving plant nutrition and getting more from your farming system. The harder part can be working out what that knowledge actually means for your farm – and what to do next.
That’s where this Talkin' After Hours Masterclass is a little different.
Limited to just 10 participants, you'll spend the day with internationally recognised soil and plant nutrition consultant Joel Williams, combining practical learning with real farm challenges, questions and conversations.
The morning session will be shaped around the topics and questions participants most want to explore. Then, after lunch, we'll turn the focus to your farms.
Through a series of relaxed Farm Conversations, every participant will have dedicated time to bring a challenge, question or opportunity from their own farm to Joel and the group. It might be a paddock that isn't performing as expected, a soil or plant test you're trying to make sense of, a nutrient decision you're weighing up, or simply something happening on your farm that you'd like to better understand.
When you book, we'll ask you a few questions about your farming system, current challenges and what you'd most like to explore. You'll also have the opportunity to send through recent soil and/or plant tissue test results for Joel to review ahead of the day.
Your masterclass experience includes:
- A full-day, small-group masterclass with Joel Williams
- Just 10 participants, allowing plenty of time for questions and discussion
- Morning learning shaped around the interests and questions of the group
- Opportunity to submit soil and/or plant tissue tests for Joel to review
- A dedicated Farm Conversation focused on your own farm
- A Farm Focus Plan to capture your priorities, ideas and next steps
- Access to a private Talkin' After Hours online community
- A private one-on-one online follow-up with Joel approximately two months later to discuss what you've tried, what you've observed and where to go next
$110 per person (inc. GST) | Strictly limited to 10 participants
Bookings will initially be limited to one participant per farm/business, giving as many farming businesses as possible the opportunity to take part.
