In a small cemetery in Grovedale lies the very personal stories of people who left Germany in 1847 to purposefully start a new life in Geelong.

Through this short Pocket Walk, your Lead, Linda Carr, will share findings from her desk-top research (Heritage Centre, The Investigator, Trove etc) about these early German settlers and those who helped them.  Perhaps you also might have details to add and enrich this knowledge sharing?
