Paint n Sip - Aboriginal Art - Paint and Yarn (Clapsticks)
About
Come together for a relaxed and creative Paint & Yarn experience, guided by Yuin artist Richard Campbell. Participants will learn about the cultural significance and traditional use of clapsticks while Richard guides them step by step through painting their own unique pair. Along the way, Richard will share cultural knowledge, stories and the meaning behind different colours, patterns and design elements.No artistic experience is needed—just come along, have a yarn, get creative and enjoy connecting with Aboriginal culture. Each participant will take home their hand-painted clapsticks as a special keepsake from the experience.
The evening will begin with a Welcome to Country, accompanied by the powerful sounds of the didgeridoo, setting the tone for a meaningful and immersive experience.
