About
Join us for the St. Mark's Day Away! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with people of all ages right across our church family. We will grow together in God's word, encourage each other and have a bunch of fun, and we get to do it in a stunning part of God's creation - by the sea in Kiama!What to Expect:
There will be two big group sessions including teaching, singing and prayer (with separate kids' and youth programs) followed by smaller discussion groups. In the afternoon, you will have a choice of various activities (beach, walks, board games, cafe trip etc.). Morning tea, lunch and dinner provided.
Speaker and Topic:
Our main speaker is Matt Bartlett. Matt served in ministry at Shellharbour City Anglican for many years and now works as an advisor with Anglican Youthworks, which aims to help churches grow and thrive, particularly in ministry to young people. He will do two talks, encouraging us to grow and be on mission together as a whole church family.
Cost:
Adult - $30
Child - $20 (1st and 2nd child)
Child - $10 (3rd and other children)
Children under 2 are free.
The ticket price helps cover the cost of all meals throughout the day, including morning tea, lunch and dinner, as well as our guest speaker and activities.
We don't want cost to be a barrier to coming. If you are experiencing financial hardship for any reason, please use the code FREE26 when booking.
Additional info:
There is plenty of parking onsite and on the street. The church is also a short walk from the train station.
There are plenty of local cafes if you'd like to buy a coffee beforehand!
