IntroductionCulturally safe services go beyond cultural awareness. They recognise how identity, experience and circumstances shape safety, trust and belonging.
This interactive session supports aged care and community services staff to recognise barriers, build trust and create inclusive, responsive service environments through discussion, reflection and case studies.
Aged Care Quality Standards
This training supports the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, particularly
• Standard 1: The Individual, Outcome 1.1: Person-centred care, and
• Standards 2 and 3 through culturally safe, inclusive and responsive service delivery.
