Join us for a free, fun catered community event encouraging unpaid carers of seniors to help make the carer role visible. Carers are welcome to invite the senior they support to join them.Share your carer story through creativity, conversation and morning tea. Create a small artwork that represents your caring experience. All materials will be providing however you may wish to bring along additional items, including a pair of scissors.
This community art project will be exhibited during Carers Week (11-17 October 2026).
The workshop is being delivered in partnership with Wellways Carer Gateway who will facilitate the activity.
This event is being delivered by Springwood Neighbourhood Centre under the Connecting Seniors and Carers Program - a new program supporting older people and their carers to stay connected in their communities. This program is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
