Join us on Sunday 15 November from 9:30am–3:30pm for a relaxed day in the country, exploring a beautiful private garden in Kangaroo Ground, creating your own generous bouquet and enjoying a leisurely grazing lunch. Come on your own, bring family or gather a group of friends—you'll be warmly welcomed to the garden. Designed for adults and suitable for ages 15+.

What you'll do

We'll leave Melbourne by private bus and head to Kangaroo Ground, where a beautiful private garden on acreage awaits. Over a welcome drink, we'll meet the garden's owner, a landscape designer, and explore the property with her, discovering the ideas, planting and stories behind this special place.Then it's time to get creative. We'll move to the table and use materials gathered from the garden, together with a selection of feature flowers sourced especially for the day, to create your own abundant garden-style bouquet. We'll pause for a generous grazing lunch, with plenty of time to relax, eat and enjoy the company. Before heading back to Melbourne, we'll make a final stop at a specialist native nursery, where you can browse, get inspired and perhaps find something to take home for your own garden.

• No gardening or floral arranging experience is required — just come ready to explore, be inspired and create.
• Bring your own vase to take your finished bouquet home.
• This experience takes place on a private acreage property, so comfortable shoes suitable for walking on garden paths and uneven ground are recommended.
• The nursery visit provides an opportunity to purchase plants and other items for your own garden. Purchases are not included in the ticket price.

Julie is a renowned landscape designer and founder of Living Landscape Designs. She'll share the stories, ideas and inspiration behind her beautiful private garden in Kangaroo Ground. Nic is an experience designer, tour host and storyteller who loves creating memorable experiences that bring people together.
