UWASS is excited to present our Surgical Skills Night! Get ready for an evening of hands-on learning, practical skills, and a chance to explore different areas of surgery in a relaxed and interactive environment.👨🏻⚕️ Who can attend? Primarily aimed at MD1 and preclinical students interested in surgery and developing their clinical skills!
📅 Date: Thursday, September 10th
⏰ Time: 4:45 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 Location: FJ Clark Complex
🎟️ Tickets: $20 -food and drinks included! 🍕🥤
Throughout the evening, you'll rotate through a series of hands-on workshops, including:
🪡 Suturing – Learn and practise essential suturing techniques with guidance.
🩻 Radiology – Work through interactive cases and test your ability to interpret common imaging.
🏆 Quiz & Prizes – Put your knowledge to the test and compete for some exciting prizes!
⚠️ Safety requirements:
Closed-in shoes must be worn as sharp equipment will be used during the workshops.
Spots are strictly limited to maximize the hands-on learning experience, so make sure you secure your ticket early!
