Kids Plant Pot Painting Activity - School Holidays Week 1
About
Join us in the first week of this Spring school holidays for plant pot painting. This is a self-directed activity rather than a class. Just drop in during the hours that are listed on the day that you choose to book into, you don't need to stay for the whole time. Depending on your child's attention and the detail in the painting we expect the activity will take most kids 30-60 minutes. Our staff will show you the materials and examples, but won't be going through step by step. We will be available if you get stuck or have any questions though.The 9cm pots will be primed and painted with a base coat, ready for the kids to get creative. Lots of example photos to get inspired, or they can make their own design. You'll get a small tub of sealer to take home to waterproof the outside of your pot so that it can be used outdoors. The inside will be sealed beforehand so that the pot can hold plants and soil, but these are not included.
This activity will include the use of acrylic paint to get the vibrant coverage needed for the designs to pop on the terracotta pots. We recommend wearing older clothes that you don't mind getting messy or using the art smocks provided.
You are welcome to grab food or drinks from our arcade neighbours or other nearby food businesses and bringing them into the workshop space, or you can bring these from home.
Price = $10 each (includes 1 pot)
OR 3 tickets for $25 (includes 3 pots, can be used for one person or multiple people)
These crafts involve a bit more prep work for us, so booking ahead will ensure that we have enough materials prepped. There will be some extras for those without bookings, but to guarantee your spot, please book ahead.
If you have a $5 craft multi-pass these can still be used for this session, we will just tick off 2 of your $5 sessions. Please message us or come in store to book with your multi-pass.
There are no refunds available for this activity. If you can't come on the day you have booked, please email us to organise to come on another day or you can pick up the materials for the activity to take home to complete.
