Newman SCR Hike - Cape Schanck

Hello SCR Members!We are going on a hike to Cape Schanck on Saturday 19 September. To cover costs of the hire bus, tickets are $10. Please see details below:
- Meet 7:45am in front of the Chapel
- Bus will drop us back by 4:30pm
- A packed lunch will be provided
HIKE DETAILS
- 17 km over relatively easy terrain, with some walking along the beach.
- There are also some swimming spots if you would like a dip!

WHAT TO BRING IN YOUR BACKPACK:
- Appropriate walking shoes
- Plenty of water
- Hat and sunscreen
- Any extra food/snacks for the trek (Newman is providing a packed lunch)
- Hand sanitiser
- Insect repellant
- Bathers and towel if you plan to swim
- Weather appropriate clothing (bearing in mind that Melbourne can rain at any second)
