BNF Tryout Ready Clinic – New to Rep PlayersThinking about trying out for representative basketball for the first time? This clinic is designed specifically for domestic players preparing to take that next step.
With rep tryouts beginning shortly after the school holidays, the BNF Tryout Ready Clinic gives players the opportunity to experience the types of drills, activities and competitive situations they may see during a representative basketball tryout.
The aim is to help players understand what to expect, build confidence and arrive at tryouts feeling more prepared.
Sessions will include skill development, finishing, shooting, 1v1 and small-sided games, decision-making and competitive drills, with a focus on key areas coaches look for including effort, communication, coach-ability and competitiveness.

Cost: $35 per player
Venue: Ashburton Pool & Recreation Centre (APARC)
Session Times:
U12 Girls: 9:30am–11:00am
U12 Boys: 11:00am–12:30pm
Strictly 12 places available per session.
IMPORTANT: These sessions are for domestic players who are planning to try out for representative basketball and are new to rep basketball.
Players should register for the age group they will be trying out for during the upcoming representative tryout period.
