All the current that would run through hundreds or thousands of people is now burning bright in the handful of people present.
This is one of those moments. This is one of those offerings.
For the second time in the Margaret River Region Si brings his unique Half-Day Retreat offering.
A foundational belief in our inherent power as musical beings drives Si’s passion to share love & music, lofty thoughts & hearty body percussion beats. To play music together as a group is a natural state of being alive. It is inherent in us since thousands of years. Uncovering our individual musicality is personal archeology; we are all rich in the ancient artifacts of rhythm and melody.
This musical adventure will move through dance, song, vocal percussion, silence, lay down sound experience, laughter, peace, presence and authentic self-expression.
This is a warm and non-confrontational space rich with valuable content & expanding experiences for anyone regardless of your musical background. Shy people are welcomed & not put on the spot!
We will share soup & bread for supper & after hangs are always encouraged in the realm of Si-events!

PROGRAM:
4pm to 6pm: Session One
6pm to 7pm: Supper & Chill
7pm to 9pm: Session Two
9pm onwards: A soft close & moment to hang together

Si Mullumby is a multi-instrumentalist based in Fremantle.
He is well known nationally and internationally first and foremost as a Didgeridoo Player, yet along the road of life he has studied percussion, Flamenco guitar, flute, voice and the music of many other traditions around the world.
Si brings all of his talents to the table in this unique retreat environment.
Recognised as one of the most influential didgeridoo players of our time he has toured the world countless times with his band Wild Marmalade.

He has also developed a unique breathing modality called Didgeridoo Pranayama & has regularly led workshops on Voice, Breath and Body percussion since many years.
An integral part of the Australian music scene, Si always brings the good, clear, high vibes on through.
