Scams are becoming harder to recognise, and even the most careful people can be caught out. Join us at Toowoomba Library on Tuesday 13 October for a practical, easy to understand Scam Awareness session designed to help you feel more confident and stay one step ahead.Over 1.5 hours, Liam will walk you through the latest scams catching people out right now, with real examples and simple steps you can take to protect yourself, your family and your money.
You’ll also learn what to do if you think you’ve been targeted, so you can feel prepared rather than unsure when that suspicious text, phone call or email comes through.
Everyone who attends will receive a Scam Awareness information sheet, a handy checklist to take home and keep for future reference.
Everyone is welcome, so bring along your partner, friends or family and learn how to stay safer together.
Tickets are $20 per person and seats are limited, so book early to secure your place.
