First Aid Course for Parents and Carers

Winterfold P&C are pleased to present an opportunity for parents and carers to learn first aid skills with esteemed first aid trainers Pascale Audy, emergency nurse and Katy Aviles, Paramedic.The topics covered in the 2 hour session include the following:
* Responding to the unresponsive child
* Dealing with common illnesses; gastro, fever, febrile convulsions
* Airway emergencies: asthma and anaphylaxis
* Common injuries: burns, head injuries, sprains/strains/fractures, cuts and bleeds
This training would normally cost $120 but we have secured the amazing price of only $25 for Winterfold Primary School parents and carers.
Kids are welcome and we have year 5 students on hand to entertain little ones.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Winterfold Primary School P&C
