Hosted by Monash Health Health Promotion, this Schools' Health and Wellbeing Community of Practice (CoP) will focus on 'Responding to Student Distress' and will feature Be You Consultants from headspace as special guests.

The purpose of the 'Responding to Student Distress' session is to provide school staff and leaders with the opportunity to build their capacity and confidence, within the boundaries of their role, to:
• observe, document and share signs of student distress
• engage in conversations with students experiencing distress
• respond to and support students in distress.

This free session is open to all school staff in Cardinia Shire, the City of Casey and the City of Greater Dandenong, including school leaders, wellbeing coordinators and school nurses.
