Part 2: Workshop (face to face)
Pre-requisite e-learning campaigns 1, 2 and 3 are compulsory and must be completed prior to attending the workshop day. Certificates must be produced on the day for verification purposes.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Identify opportunities or triggers in routine practice when advance care planning discussions are indicated
Feel comfortable and confident initiating an advance care planning discussion with patients and their families
Practise the skills required to hold an advance care planning discussion
Describe the legal and ethical implications of advance care planning in the healthcare setting
Support people to complete Advance Care Directives
