Saddula Bathukamma is the grand finale of the nine-day Bathukamma festival, celebrated with great joy and devotion by Telugu women and families. On this special day, beautifully arranged Bathukamma flower stacks are decorated with a variety of seasonal flowers and offered with traditional prayers and songs. Women gather together in colourful traditional attire, sing Bathukamma folk songs, dance around the floral arrangements, and celebrate the beauty of nature, community, and Telugu people’s rich cultural heritage. The festival concludes with the immersion of Bathukamma in water, symbolising gratitude to nature and prayers for the health, happiness, and prosperity of families and the community.
