The celebration will take the form of drinks followed by a buffet banquet dinner at The Granary, an 1885 warehouse located within the Marian Boutique Lodging House rumoured to have stored grains, belian ironwood, and opium - as part of the ancestral property of Kuching’s influential Ong Ewe Hai family dynasty. The dilapidated old warehouse underwent a major adaptive reuse restoration project in 2021 to create KANTIN, an urban hipster cafe serving Sarawakian food with an avant-garde twist.Dress Code: Plan on dressing with a nod to the year 1976. Think scarves, headbands, beads, Afros and all things Asian!
