The AMC SA Music Hall of Fame is a vibrant tribute to South Australia’s rich musical heritage. We honour artists, bands, orchestras, groups, and venues who have left an indelible mark on our state’s musical legacy.Each year new South Australian music icons are inducted into the SA Music Hall of Fame, joining the ranks of over two hundred legendary artists including Cold Chisel, The Angels, The Twilights, Sister Janet Mead and No Fixed Address. Inductees are endorsed by their peers for their musical excellence, influence, innovation, and lasting impact on the local, national and international stage.
Inductees are recognised and listed on the SA Music Hall of Fame Honour Boards which have been displayed in Town Halls, public galleries and different venues over the years.
Founded by radio legends David "Daisy" Day and his colleague John "Vinnie" Vincent, both who have left this life but made sure their shadows loomed forever in South Australia, the SA Music Hall of Fame carries on their legacy and the desire that South Australia celebrate our huge musical imprint and impact.
Daisy and Vinnie are immortalised by their images that adorn the prestigious medallions awarded to inductees.
Now in its 22nd year, the AMC SA Music Hall of Fame stands as a testament to the dedication, commitment and motivation of the AMC committee members both past and present, as well the many people who have volunteered their time and talent to keep the dream alive.
