Stella Anning
About
Stella’s quartet explores the spaces between jazz, soul, and folk. Centred on groove and improvisation, Stella’s quartet delivers raw, rhythm-forward interplay and improvisational soundscapes intertwined with soulful vocals.“Sonically rich… with Anning’s guitar nudging post-rock territory… ‘Yellow Brick Veneer’ is the sound of an artist stretching their wings, concocting a blend of folk jazz hinged upon melodic contours, searing beauty, and spirited guitar” - Des Cowley, Rhythms Magazine
