2026 U21 October Tournaments & U11-U7 SA Chess Championships
Wednesday 7th - Friday 9th October 2026. Your age is your age on the first day of the tournament.
Please pick from 4 events:
The U21 Oct 60 has the time rate of 60 mins +30 sec increment per player - 2 games per day . It is a FIDE event.
The U21 Oct 25 and State U11/10 Championship - 25 minutes + 10 sec inc. - 4 games per day
The U9, 8 & 7 has 7 or 8 rounds - 15 mins per player - new tournament each day.
You can play just a single day. If you wish to play just for 2 days, please book just the first day and advise the organisers at the venue on that day.
These events will all be played at St Peter's Junior School, 67 North Tce, Hackney - the Junior School entrance is off North Tce, east of Hackney Rd. It will be open from 8.30am each day and all games should be finished by 4pm.
To play in the October 60 event which will be a FIDE rated event you must either be an Australian citizen or already have a FIDE Id. If you do not have a FIDE Id and are not an Australian citizen please play in the October 25 event.
All the events will be rated by the Australian Chess Federation.
