Join us for an in-depth and soul-nourishing journey through Surah al-Kahf, with Qur’an recitation, tafseer, reflections and practical lessons in tadabbur.
Together, we will delve deeply into the Words of our Lord and discover how the guidance of Surah al-Kahf speaks to the trials we face today.

Set within The Rose Garden and Suite at Oatlands’ elegant manor, this secluded retreat offers Muslim women a beautiful space for Qur’an, reflection and sisterhood.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Raised in a devout Christian home, Shaykha Umm Jamaal ud-Din embraced Islam as a teenager. Her journey led her to develop a deep love for the Qur’an and a lifelong commitment to studying, memorising and teaching the Book of Allah.
She is a qualified Islamic scholar who has memorised the Qur’an, holds an ijazah in Qur’an recitation in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, and has studied and taught Qur’an sciences and Shariah for over 25 years. She is also among the first qualified female scholars recognised by the Australian National Imams Council.
Her passion is helping women from all backgrounds not only recite the Qur’an, but understand its meanings, reflect upon its guidance and allow it to transform their hearts and lives.
