Presenting 'Shake Shake Theatre's' newest show 'The Potato Island' – a joyful, music-filled puppet adventure for families about friendship, courage, and the power of sharing.On a magical island where everyone lives on potatoes, the peaceful “Chlips” from the North and South suddenly turn against each other, tricked by the sly Pontiac. With the help of the audience (and a few flying potatoes!), two brave young heroes must save their island (45 minutes).
A funny, heartfelt tale with songs, shadow theatre, and lots of mashed mayhem!

FREE EVENT. Book for per child only. Recommended for ages 5+
Following the show, join Pierre for a shadow theatre workshop where participants will create their own shadow theatre elements, perform a short story in front of the screen, and then take their creations home. (60 minutes).
About: Pierre Filliez began his acting career in his native Switzerland in 2000. He then completed a diploma in Physical Theatre at the International Theatre School of Jaques Lecoq in Paris, France. Since then he has co-founded Shake Shake Theatre, with his wife and partner Jessica Nicholls. He collaborated with Drehbühne Berlin, OFAJ, he taught theater at the Menagerie e.V. and produced and performed his own theatre pieces throughout Europe and now Australia. He also creates masks and puppets, and designs and builds sets. Established in Australia with his family since 2022, he continues to perform puppet shows and provide workshops in puppetry and drama as part of Shake Shake Theatre, he also teaches physical theatre at NIDA and work with Clown Doctors Australia in children’s hospitals.
