Speech & Drama Program
2026-Term 4 enrolment (as well as ASCA exam entry fee)
Speech & Drama is a program designed to learn communcation skills through drama, poetry and public speaking. These lessons are a fun and dynamic way of building students confidence in public speaking, communication and performance skills.
Speech & Drama lessons aim to improve diction, improve voice projection and develop natural expression of the spoken word.
These small group lessons take place for 30mins during school time and are designed to make learning fun! In Term 4 all students participate in a fun group Speech and Communication Examination run by the Australian Speech and Communication Association. This relaxed, fun exam showcases the students work to an external examiner who guides the students through the presentation process and provides written feedback on their progress. (Audience at this event is encouraged and the date will be notified once confirmation of booking from ASCA)
8 x Speech & Drama lessons for Term 4 2026 (Term 4 is 10 weeks so there will be 8 Speech & Drama lessons & the exam with the remaining 2 weeks allocated for catch up lessons.) $200.00 + $50.00 Australian Speech & Communication examination fee.
