About

WestCASA and Mercy Health will lead a Hoppers Lane partnership to mark 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with a collaborative community event highlighting our shared commitment to ending violence against women and girls.

Centred on the 2026 global campaign theme, "UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls," the event will bring together staff, students, community members and partner organisations to raise awareness of technology-facilitated abuse and demonstrate a united commitment to creating safer, more respectful communities.
The event will commence at Mercy Hospital Werribee, where participants will gather before taking part in a symbolic community walk along Hoppers Lane, carrying campaign banners and messages of solidarity.

Participants will walk from Mercy Health's new Emergency department up to the VU athletics track, arriving at Wyndham Tech School
