About

You are warmly invited to join us as we bring our entire rowing family together to launch the 2026 season.

Rowing relies on a strong supportive community like few other sports. This special event is all about getting to know fellow families on the bank, connecting with coaches and rowing alumnae, and giving our rowers the united support they need as they take to the water.

Highlights include:

* The christening of four new fleet additions honouring Principal Dr Emma Burgess, past Principal Mrs Cheryl Penberthy, and Olympic rowers Margot Foster AM (1975) and Robyn Selby Smith (1998).
* The formal induction of Margot Foster AM and Robyn Selby Smith as Patrons of PLC Rowing.
* Post-ceremony refreshments on the lawn.

RSVP: Monday 5 October
