Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, and Atherton Performing Arts is excited to bring it to life with a cast of talented actors who are equally adept with Shakespeare’s witty dialogue, slapstick comedy and thrilling sword fighting.Young noble soldier Claudio has fallen in love with Hero, the beautiful daughter of Leonato, but their romance is sabotaged by the villainous Don John.
And while this plays out, the characters plot to engineer a romance between the feuding couple Beatrice and Benedick, with hilarious results.
With romance, intrigue, mistaken identity and trickery, this riotous comedy has something for everyone.
Suitable for ages 8+ due to mild mature themes and mild sexual references.
