A World Apart: The Royal Society of Tasmania Art Collection opens one of Tasmania’s significant but little-known cultural collections to a wider audience. More than 850 artworks from the eighteenth century to the early twentieth century reveal Tasmania through the eyes of British and European artists, naturalists, explorers and settlers in this major new publication from the Royal Society of Tasmania. The 312-page book includes 853 images, many of which have rarely been exhibited. It provides the first comprehensive pictorial survey of the Royal Society of Tasmania Art Collection in print.
Pre-launch price: RST members $79 Non-members $88. Pre-launch prices are available until 15 October.
