A two–hour art workshop
Join TMAG volunteer art guides Lynne Beck and Ann Hughes for a hands-on drawing workshop inspired by works in TMAG's Becoming Modern: Mid-century Australian Art exhibition.
Using graphite pencil on paper, build a tonal study inspired by a portrait in the gallery, focusing on form and texture.

About the facilitators
Lynne Beck has taught Secondary Art in Hobart and Melbourne and now enjoys a more relaxed involvements in Hobart, both in a practical way with workshops in various media as well as taking TMAG art tours. Lynne enjoys curating occasional exhibitions with her involvement in Community Arts at Bellerive, where she also has a role in a secretarial capacity.
Ann Hughes is, by profession, a social worker and an editor. She's an enthusiastic volunteer Art Guide with an interest in many art forms who believes in the importance of the arts for individual and community well-being.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
TMAG will only refund tickets 72 hours prior to the workshop if a request is made directly to the event organiser. In the event of any cancellation or rescheduling of the workshop by the presenters, tickets will be offered for an alternate date or refunded in full.
