Perth Rotary Lunch | Cate Harman & Maxine Wood
For this seventh lunch meeting of our Perth Rotary Centenary Year, two of our Past Presidents - Past Presidents Stephen Inouye and George Etrelezis - have created an enjoyable and informative event. You will hear from Cate Harman, Managing Director and Maxine Wood, Clinical Nurse Specialist, both of MADDA on the topic of "MADDA : Making an Impact - Shaping the Future".
Cate will provide a brief overview of the history of MADDA, including the transition from Reflections to MADDA one year ago and how this change has strengthened the organisation's ability to support a broader community affected by dust-related diseases. She will discuss MADDA's achievements to date, and plans for the future. Maxine will then talk about MADDA's specialist support services and plans for expansion of these services.
As well, Past Presidents George and Stephen have planned a fabulous event for you, featuring fellowship, fundraising, fun and the opportunity to bask in the afterglow of the Dockers Premiership quest (fingers crossed!):
. Bring along your choice of an existing song title that reflects your association with the Rotary Club of Perth. It may be about its wonderful contribution to the community, member interaction, personal impressions or even a focus on past or present events or activities. There will be a prize for the winning song.
. The sergeant’s session will take on the format of a table champion verbal boxing challenge based on trivia with the winning table exempt from a group fine.
. Fundraising on the day will go towards the support of MAADA our valued corporate member. An overnight stay at the Parmelia and a more than delightful red will be up for grabs in addition to an exceptional raffle hamper, kindly donated by Kathryn Wackett.
PLEASE NOTE early start time of 12noon for 12:15pm.
This is a lunch meeting not to be missed. Come and join us!
Bookings close Tuesday 29th September 2026 @ 3pm
