Join us during these school holidays to work with highly respected Brabrawoolong Gunnai man, Ray Thomas. Ray has most recently had a major solo exhibition at KHT “Yeerung’s Journey”.As an accomplished and prolific artist with a love of paint, illusion, realism and spray paint, Ray will lead children through an exploration of totems and stories significant to him.
This workshop invites participants to connect with storytelling, culture and creative expression through art and printmaking inspired by the totems, symbols and layered narratives that feature throughout Ray’s paintings. Participants will work with a selection of pre-prepared stencil designs printed onto thick cardstock prior to the session, offering a range of imagery and creative choice. In a relaxed and welcoming space, guests will have the opportunity to create multiple works while engaging with Ray as he shares stories, techniques and airbrushing skills.

Light catering is provided.
This is a family workshop designed for adults to participate alongside their children.
Suitable for children aged 6 years and over.
If you are sensitive to spray paint or have breathing concerns, please take the necessary precautions.
