This Halloween, step inside the mysterious world of Raven’s Requiem — where some stories refuse to stay buried… and some of the residents are not who they appear to be!Inspired by a true story from the Goodna Asylum, Raven’s Requiem is an original musical mystery filled with ghosts, secrets, laughter, romance and plenty of unexpected twists. When determined newspaper reporter Kate Moriarty follows a mysterious invitation to investigate the long-forgotten graves of Raven’s Hill Asylum, she expects to uncover a great story. What she doesn’t expect is to find herself surrounded by a very lively collection of unusual friends!
There’s JoJo, the mischievous former patient with a flair for the dramatic; James, the charming handyman who may be hiding a secret of his own; John Raven, desperately searching for the truth about his beloved wife Eliza; and the formidable Matron Rosaline Edwards, who still believes she is very much in charge.
As Kate digs deeper, forgotten records reveal a disturbing mystery involving lost graves, hidden evidence and secrets buried for generations.
But don’t expect a gloomy ghost story! Raven’s Requiem combines its mystery with big laughs, colourful characters and a fantastic selection of familiar songs, all woven into the story — while you sit back and enjoy the Theatre Restaurant experience.
