2026 - Term 4 (19 OCT - 7 DEC, 2026 Mondays)
Time 3:05 PM to 4:35 PM
Advanced Engineering and Robotics Club @ P3, Senior block
Advanced Engineering & Robotics education can help students learn about technology and its applications to solve real-world problems. Through project-based learning, students use hardware, Lego® compatible building blocks, and coding to create prototypes and explore viable solutions to real-world issues. These projects aim to develop students' problem-solving abilities and boost their confidence to overcome challenges they may face in their future careers or solving global problems.
During Term 4, 2026, Advanced Builds, students will explore the exciting Farming Machines theme, creating innovative models such as a plough, windmill and other agricultural machines that combine mechanical engineering with coding and automation. Students will code and control motors using touch switches, ultrasonic sensors, buzzers and joysticks, while exploring concepts such as gear transmission, speed reduction and multiplication, motion control and automation. Through these hands-on projects, students will develop advanced coding, engineering, problem-solving and STEM skills while discovering how technology is used in modern farming.
The course aims to introduce students to the practical and theoretical aspects of technology, software engineering, math, and entrepreneurship.
Age: Year 4- Year 6
