About

AVD400: Advanced Hospital Training is a required unit for volunteers progressing to an Advanced Hospital role. This practical four-hour session covers mange treatment and management, appropriate PPE use, advanced tube-feeding and tube rehydration techniques. Participants will gain hands-on experience safely assessing, handling and providing supportive care to a range of wildlife patients, including bobtails and waterbirds, building the skills and confidence required for more advanced hospital responsibilities.
