About

Wynona Wang was a major prize winner of the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition and is a brilliant performer and excellent public speaker. She was born in Beijing but has lived in the USA for more than 10 years and is a graduate of the prestigious Julliard School, New York. Wynona is returning to Australia in October/November 2026 under the auspices of the Government House Foundation of WA and The Sydney International Piano Competition and will perform in Albany, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

This recital offers the opportunity to hear her exciting piano playing up close in the intimate setting of the Orangery Gallery. Wynona will play music by Chopin, Schumann and Stravinsky and will introduce each work from the piano.
