The late African-American Christian mystic and civil rights activist, Howard Thurman famously said everyone had the ‘sound of the genuine’ in them and to be fully alive is to hear this sound.
In this special Ramona Books Salon, moderated by writer Gerald Frape and Melbourne Zen Group teacher, educator & psychotherapist, Kirk Fisher, will explore living from the sound of the genuine in our lives.
The evening will feature a short meditation and talk with a discussion in pairs followed by a closing original musical performance by composer & trombonist Callum Mintzis.
