Great afternoon concert of jazz and swing with New Groove Jazz Ensemble and two vocalists, Trina Lincoln and Alvin Paradis. This programme will include music to appeal to all ages, from Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington to Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble. They will include hits like In the Mood and All that Jazz, plus Buble's Haven't Met you Yet and Billy Joel's Just the Way You Are. 

New Groove is a community Big Band bringing jazz alive for 30 years who play regularly at the Sandgate Town Hall, Brisbane City Council 'Bands in the Park' programme and the Brisbane Jazz Club.

Trina has a had a busy career in the Brisbane jazz scene since graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Jazz Voice with appearances with different bands plus entertainment centres. Vin is a Canadian entertainer who has been working in Australia for 18 years but recently went back for a European tour with a Canadian singing group.

Entry price includes refreshments after the concert with the chance to chat with the musicians or other music lovers in the area. This is an opportunity to hear a lively and refreshing take on music old and new in a relaxed local venue.
