A Journey Through Great Southern Wine & Food
Saturday 21 November 2026 · 5.30 pm
Historic Camp Quaranup, Albany
Some stories are written in books. Others take root in vineyards, pass between generations and find their way to our tables.
For one evening, take your place in the story of the Great Southern.
Join Great Southern Sip and the Great Southern Wine Producers Association for a journey through seven time periods. At each stop, pause to taste, listen and reflect. Enjoy seven dishes across the evening, drinks reflecting their eras and a Great Southern wine of today paired with each dish.
We begin long before 1826, honouring Aboriginal people’s enduring connection to Country and the knowledge held in its seasons. Then the chapters turn. Ships arrive, necessity inspires ingenuity and unfamiliar vines find a home. What changed our tastes? Who dared to plant something different? What might come next?
A sparkling welcome opens a showcase of Great Southern wines, with stories and insights from the hands that help make them. Local delicacies and artisan products invite discovery, while a wine auction offers spirited bidding and something special to take home.
Just a glimmer of our region’s abundance, this evening invites you to seek out its makers and carry their stories further.
Whether this is home or somewhere you’re beginning to know, there is a place for you at this table.
Come curious. Leave with a little more Great Southern in your heart.
