We are thrilled to have music biographer Jeff Apter join us for an evening of inside storytelling about iconic rock band Australian Crawl. Jeff’s latest book, Reckless, is an insightful narrative of the fast-paced rise and fracturing fall of Australian Crawl. It moves from their childhood days, which influenced songs like Beautiful People and The Boys Light Up, to the icon-laden song that heralds the book’s title.

Jeff will be joined on stage by Glenn Dormand, better known as Chit Chat, who has interviewed over 800 acts including Oasis, Kylie Minogue, Coldplay and Lenny Kravitz, to name a few.

Jeff Apter and Glenn Dormand Bios:

Jeff Apter has written more than 30 biographies and his work has been published across the globe. His subjects have included Neil Finn, Keith Urban, AC/DC, Jon English and Marc Hunter from Dragon. He lives in Wollongong, where he likes to think of himself as one of its most colourful local identities.

Glenn Dormand, better known as Chit Chat Von Loopin Stab, is an Australian songwriter, musician, TV presenter, radio announcer, podcaster and video director from Newcastle and one of the founding members of the band Machine Gun Fellatio.
