Peter Campbell
IN A WORLD CRAVING AUTHENTICITY, AUSTRALIAN SINGER-SONGWRITER PETER CAMPBELL CUTS THROUGH THE NOISE. In the words of his own song Pete has willingly carried a Burden of Hope for just on 60 years. On the road as a solo artist for the first 20, he developed a distinctive voice charged with honesty, activism and compassion. After a long and rewarding career in design, Pete returned to the stage with a wealth of material that had never been heard. This music has a timelessness to it – a rare blend of infectious alt-folk and contemporary relevance – a call to action, connection and healing. His second album, Across the Border, was produced by folk legend Noel Paul Stookey (Paul of Peter, Paul & Mary fame) at his studio in Blue Hill, Maine, USA. CONTACT & BOOKINGS music@petercampbell.au petercampbellsongs Peter D Campbell Peter Campbell PP&M covered his song Wild Places on their album Such is Love and he toured with them. In 2020 he wrote Waited Too Long which became the anthem for the United Nations International Summit on Domestic/Family Violence in the COVID-19 Era, a three-day online conference out of New York attended by leaders and experts from 47 countries and opened by Pope Francis. It was the enthusiastic response to Waited Too Long that convinced him to return to the stage. In 2025 Pete’s startling fifth album, Burden of Hope, was released in Australia and the USA where it immediately debued at #20 Top Albumn of the Month on the Folk Alliance International’s Folk Radio Chart across 200+ radio stations across America. Pete will be touring Burden of Hope throughout 2026.

There’s a new kid in the Capital. Coolibah Coolective are dreamy, jazzy indie-folkies with a sunny disposition, weaving warm cello, acoustic guitar and bass with crisp percussion, razor-edged strings and a touch of acoustic twang. Think banjolele meets electric slide uke.

Their growing repertoire of original, story-driven songs is rich in melody, harmony, groove and atmosphere — music with plenty to say and no empty calories or acoustic wallpaper.
