The Tenterfield School of Arts hosts a fabulous concert on Sunday 4 October 2026, celebrating the extraordinary life, music and legacy of Peter Allen.The audience will experience a variety of solo, group, instrumental and dance performances in the town where Peter Allen's remarkable story began.
Be part of the celebration of the man whose music has become part of Australia's cultural history. Peter Allen's journey began in Tenterfield and eventually took him to stages around the world.
Featuring AlteraNigella, Neil Savins, Benjamin Ryan, Tenterfield Rockettes, Interlude, Star Avenue Dance Centre, Jam & Scones Orchestra and the Stanthorpe Swing Band.
Nigella hails from Brisbane and is a star in the making. Be part of her journey. Nigella recently recorded Tenterfield Saddler, filming the music video at Tenterfield. Neil Savins is a professional Tenterfield singer and musician performing across Qld and NSW.
Enjoy a variety of Peter Allen songs with some Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland favourites as well.
The Jam & Scones Orchestra will sing and perform Peter Allen songs with a twist. Benjamin Ryan will entertain with his beautiful piano numbers, and Interlude will perform Peter Allen and Liza Minnelli numbers.
Lively and delicate dance performances by the Tenterfield Rockettes and Star Avenue Dance Centre will delight the audience.
The Stanthorpe Swing Band will be playing from 5pm with the Concert starting at 5.30pm.
Daylight Savings starts that day so make sure you are on NSW time.
