Oyster Botanics presents the launch show for Thomas Skalicky's debut EP 'Voicemail to Self'. A record that encounters themes of fleeting revelations, love-sick fever dreams and musings on the Orwellian nightmare we're trapped in. Skalicky's music is a distinct take on folk & art-rock, upheld by traces of '70s guitar bands, some psych-rock looseness and loved-up indie grooves. Also playing will be songwriters Ellen James and Tallulah Grace, presenting magical incantations and fascinations in song form. Be sure to arrive on time to catch the performances these musicians will bring to the iconic Merri Creek Tavern bandroom.The Tav is a standing-room only venue, seating can be provided for people with a disability.
