About
Celebrate the return of our migratory waders from the Northern Hemisphere. Moreton Bay and Deception Bay are important sites for endangered migratory waders. Learn about their ecology and lives in the Bay as well as participate in a guided walk with experienced birders where you can observe these amazing birds going about their daily lives along the Deception Bay foreshore. Guided Walk set for 7.30 am Sunday Morning. Meet at the Boat Ramp at Beaufort Place & The Esplanade, Deception Bay for a guided walk. After the walk there will be an opportunity to visit the Deception Bay Environmental Hub for some morning tea and presentations on our migratory waders including an update on Bird Flu.7.30 am Guided Walk at Southern Deception Bay
